SPRING CRAWS YOU CAN COUNT ON
As you make your way back out on the water this spring, you could find yourself in a search mission. It’s not always easy to find those early spring time bass, and if weather conditions aren’t stable, you will need to slow your presentation down.
Here are a few baits you can lean on to help find those big bites!
3.5″ & 4″ Culprit Incredi-Craw
The Incredi-Craw has made waves over the past two seasons, as it has caught fish all over the world. The Incredi-Craw is available in a 3.5″ size and a 4″ size. The major advantage to the Incredi-Craw are its lifelike features. The swimming antennae of the Incredi-Craw will grab the attention of an onlooking fish on the drop. The realistic legs and claws flair out upon impact on the bottom, imitating a live crawdad in full defensive mode. Its thick ringed-body allows it to punch through vegetation more easily than other baits like it.
Most anglers will rig the Incredi-Craw up on a 3/0 or 4/0 hook, however this bait can also be cut down in size and used as a trailer on a flipping jig.
New for 2017, the Culprit Incredi-Bug made a big splash and can now be found in many tackle boxes across North America. The Incredi-Bug’s unique and aggressive profile has proven to be a big bass catcher. The oversized body of the Incredi-Bug, makes rigging easier. The Culprit Incredi-Slim is a familiar looking bait; it shares a similar look as the Incredi-Craw. The Incredi-Slim however is a much more slender profile. This profile slides through thick cover much easier than other craw baits, and its narrow body allows for easy hook sets.
The Incredi-Slim is perfect for Carolina rigging, on a shaky head jig, light Texas rig or on a bladed swim jig trailer. The smaller profile of the Incredi-Slim is the go-to bait for clearer water or finesse applications.
